South Bay Pest Pros is a trade name of West LA SH LP ("we," "us," "our"). We provide a service that connects homeowners and businesses in the South Bay area of Los Angeles County with licensed, independent pest control providers ("Providers"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

Important: we are a referral and matching service. When you submit a request through southbaypestpros.com, you are matched with an independent, licensed Provider who performs the actual pest control service. We are not the company that enters your home or performs treatment.

1. Information we collect

When you submit a request for service, we collect:

• Full name
• Phone number
• Email address (if provided)
• ZIP code / service address
• Pest type and details about your request
• Any additional information you choose to share in the request form

We also automatically collect limited technical information (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security, fraud prevention, and analytics purposes.

2. How we use your information

We use the information you provide to:

• Match you with an appropriate, licensed Provider in your area
• Share your request details and contact information with the single Provider assigned to your request so they can contact you about your service request
• Verify your submission is legitimate (including automated bot-protection checks)
• Improve our matching process and service quality
• Communicate with you about your request

3. How we share information

We use the information you submit solely to provide the service you requested. We share your contact and service details only with the single licensed pest control provider (this sharing excludes your SMS consent and opt-in data, which are never shared) assigned to fulfill your request, so that provider can contact you and provide the requested service. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with any third party for that party's own marketing or promotional purposes.

• Assigned Provider: the single independent pest control company assigned to your request receives your name, contact information, and request details so they can contact you and provide the requested service. They do not receive your information for any other purpose.
• Service providers who support our platform: we use third-party services for hosting, data storage, bot protection, and customer communications (currently Supabase, Railway, Cloudflare, and GoHighLevel (LeadConnector), which sends our text messages) that process data on our behalf under their own security safeguards.
• We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

4. How we contact you

When you submit a request, we and/or your matched Provider will contact you by phone or email about your service request. Text messaging is never included in this step: you will only receive text messages if you separately opt in via the optional checkbox on our service request form or by texting us first at (424) 999-7750. That SMS consent is recorded independently and is not required to use our service or request service.

You may ask us to stop contacting you at any time by contacting us at info@southbaypestpros.com or by telling the Provider directly.

5. SMS / Text Messaging

We collect your mobile number and SMS consent only via the optional checkbox on our service request form or when you text us first at (424) 999-7750. Text messages are sent through our messaging provider, GoHighLevel (LeadConnector).

Messages relate to your service request: confirmations, scheduling updates, and customer care. We do not send promotional, marketing, or offers/deals text messages.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP to opt out at any time; reply HELP for help, or contact info@southbaypestpros.com or (424) 999-7750.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Your SMS opt-in, consent records and mobile number are used only by South Bay Pest Pros to send the text messages described above. They are never shared with, sold to, or transferred to pest control providers or any other third party. Providers do not text you using your SMS consent.

6. Cookies & Tracking

What cookies are. Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit. Similar technologies (such as pixels, tags, and local storage) work in a comparable way. They help a site function and can help the site's owner understand how the site is used.

Types of cookies we use. We use:

• Essential cookies that are needed for the site to function and to keep it secure — for example, our bot-protection tool (see Cloudflare Turnstile below) uses a token to verify that form submissions come from real people.
• Analytics / performance cookies that help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. These are only set when analytics is enabled (see Google Analytics below).

We do not use advertising or marketing cookies, and we do not run advertising pixels or retargeting tags on this site.

Third-party tools we use.

• Google Analytics (Google LLC): when enabled, it helps us measure site traffic and understand how visitors use the site. It may collect information such as pages visited, time on site, device and browser type, referring website, and approximate (city/region-level) location derived from your IP address. Google Analytics is only loaded when we have configured an analytics measurement ID; when it is not configured, these analytics cookies are not set and the site uses only essential cookies.
• Cloudflare Turnstile (Cloudflare, Inc.): an essential bot-protection tool that helps verify form submissions are made by real people rather than automated bots. It is used for security and fraud prevention, not for advertising, and may store a token to complete that verification.

Managing cookies. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings, and you can set your browser to warn you before accepting them. Blocking or deleting cookies may affect how parts of the site work. You can also opt out of Google Analytics across all websites using Google's browser opt-out add-on.

Do Not Track & Global Privacy Control. Because there is no common industry standard for how to interpret "Do Not Track" (DNT) browser signals, our site does not currently respond to them. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, so a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal has no such activity to opt out of on this site. You can still control cookies through your browser settings as described above.

7. Your rights (California residents)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

• Know what personal information we have collected about you
• Request deletion of your personal information
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information (we do not sell personal information)
• Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights

We retain request and consent records for as long as needed to operate our service, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations.

9. Data Security

We take reasonable and appropriate measures to protect the personal information you provide to us, including:

• Encryption in transit: All data submitted through our website is transmitted over HTTPS using TLS encryption.
• Encryption at rest: Personal information is stored in databases and systems that encrypt data at rest.
• Access controls: Access to personal information is limited to authorized personnel and service providers who need it to respond to your service request. Access is protected by unique credentials and multi-factor authentication where available.
• Least-privilege permissions: Our database uses role-based access and security policies so that information is only accessible to systems and users with a legitimate need.
• Secure service providers: We use reputable, industry-standard providers for hosting, data storage, and customer communications, each of which maintains its own security safeguards.
• Data minimization and retention: We collect only the information needed to fulfill your request and retain it only as long as necessary for business or legal purposes.
• Incident response: If we become aware of a security incident affecting your personal information, we will take prompt steps to investigate and notify you as required by applicable law.

10. Children's privacy

Our service is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
